Accounts Assistant / Customer Support – part time

We are currently recruiting for a part time Accounts Assistant/Customer Support role to be based at our Clapham head office.

Hours of work will be 10am - 4pm, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities will include:

Accounts Assistant

Maintaining sales and purchase ledger
Petty cash/expenses recording
Preparing bank reconciliations
Preparing management accounts
Assisting with other accounts administration support

Customer Support

Managing the customer service email account on a daily basis, ensuring all enquiries are answered or forwarded to the relevant department
Assisting customers with general enquiries, providing the highest level of service possible
Ensuring repairs of Orla Kiely products are carried out, sending items on to the correct repairers for appropriate action
Liaising with the Wholesale Accounts and Production departments regarding repairs, issues, etc.
During our sales campaigns place orders onto the Protex database, ensuring accuracy at all times
Liaising with customers via email and telephone regarding repairs, etc., building and maintaining customer relationships
Assisting with all incoming calls to Prescott Place
Assisting the Wholesale Accounts and Production departments with day to day administration
Resolving customer complaints promptly, escalating to the Manager as required

The ideal candidate will have previous Accounts experience with knowledge of Sage and Excel, be a team player with excellent organisational skills and good attention to detail. You will be a confident individual as you will be required to liaise with our customers both on the telephone and via email as part of the Customer Support aspect of the role.

Showroom Intern

We are looking for a Showroom Intern to join us in January 2015 for approximately 6 – 8 weeks.

This position will involve:
• General day to day administration
• Taking responsibility for the showroom, ensuring it is tidied on a daily basis and stocked as necessary
• Assisting with customers to the showroom
• Assisting with outfits for customers and dressing our models
• Preparing gift packs for customers

You will have:
• An organised approach with good attention to detail
• A flair for fashion with an excellent sense of style

Although this will be an unpaid position, you will receive assistance towards your travel and lunch each day.
